41 ft. Formosa $ 5K (project boat or Parts)

This is a project boat. It has no motor, transmission, or masts or booms. It does have a solid hull, deck, and cabin tops. There are too many extras to list (for example) all rigging, winches, cleats, blocks, sails, halyards, anchors, steering, helm, bronze portholes and lots of teak and mahogany including a stack of extra teak and mahogany. 10,0000 lbs of lead in keel and a bunch of other stuff. This boat has been in my pasture for ten years and I want to find it a good home. There is way more than $5,000.00 in parts and equiptment but take it all for that price. This price does not include moving it, but I do have a mover who can load it on his special trailer and be gone in one hour. He simply backs underneath it and picks it up with four hydrolic arms. why don't you scrap it yourself for the lead...
I think the current price is around $27/lb.

Bit off... it's about $.87 a pound right now. Still, $8700 for just the keel isn't too bad.

Wish I had a place to keep her on the hard while taking on the restoration. This is exactly the sort of project I'm hoping to find someday.

Can you please tell me where you are getting $0.87 per pound for lead? The best I can get is $0.50. Thanks

Better phrasing would be $100K project boat, 'cause that's what it will cost you before you ever set sail. But good luck.
