38' Prout Catamaran

SUNSPOT BABY IS FOR SALE

It is a tough decision, but we are pretty sure we have completed the long range cruising period of our retirement. Having said that, we should move to a smaller boat, one just big enough for local and coastal cruising. So, we are offering our cherished catamaran to others headed into the deep blue.

She is not yet listed with a broker. The asking price is $170k. If you are interested contact us at the email address below. We are willing to pass along the savings of no broker fee in exchange for a quick sale done directly.

If you have a diesel powered small cruiser in the 32 to 34' range, in good condition, we would consider taking it as a trade-in.

Visit our web site for complete spec sheet and much more at 1994 Prout 38 Sunspot Baby

PM me if you are interested and I will give you contact information/

Re: 38' Prout Catamaran

Passing this along to my friend who happens to be in the market for a cat. Is she still in the New Bern area? I may be coming down next week to look at a monohull and I could bring my friend to look at Sunspot Baby.

If I hit a lottery ticket, I wouldn't be selling her.

FruiVita:

Yes Sunspot Baby is still here in New Bern. Actually at Northwest Creek Marina about 10 miles from downtown.

I will PM you with my contact information so we can arrange to get together.

Frui:

Sorry your engine survey didn't look good so you won't be bringing Dave to look at Sunspot Baby.

Hope to see you some other time.

Re: 38' Prout Catamaran

well it sucks you are selling a wonderful boat, and going to the "dark side" but if I run into anybody I will send them your way. The Bahamas are still considered coastal cruising

Yeah 7000 hrs on a leaky Perkins isn't something I want on my first boat.
