Unhappy Re: 33' to 40' Sailboat - West Coast

I have just, very reluctantly, put my Cal 2-46 on the market. My age and health has forced an end to my cruising dreams. Boat is in Puerto Vallarta, MX. Price will be very right to right buyer! Contact me for more detailed info if interested .

Re: 33' to 40' Sailboat - West Coast

Hi There,

I just posted an ad for my Mariner 31' Ketch for sale. I know it is a bit smaller than the size range you indicated, however, she is very beamy and feels very large inside. She is a great bluewater cruising boat and I have completely rebuilt her over the past 10 years. She is stocked out with tons of gear...ready for cruising. Take a look at my post on here if you like, or I could send you the information in a PM if you prefer. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions.

Good luck with your search!

Thanks for the responses everyone. Still looking as my budget allows, but as was mentioned before I might have to go south to find better deals. Prices in the NW seem much higher than elsewhere.

Re: 33' to 40' Sailboat - West Coast

We are selling our Cal 39' if you're still looking for a boat on the West Coast. This is a 1979 Lapworth sloop - sails awesome, and in great shape. New standing rigging installed in 2009 by Brian Toss. Has a Perkins 4108 that runs great. Escapade is moored in Oak Harbor, Washington. Give us a shout if you're interested! Asking $68,000

Can I suggest you start looking and doing your own homework and research rather than have posters fire boats at you only to be told..nah, too expensive, nah, too far north, nah, too much work!

It's quite easy...really. Go on Yachtworld, punch in the type of yacht you like....up they will pop. Now you can choose your desired buying location, your price range( on the control panel left side) and check out what is available and whether you like what YOU see!!.
