For Sale: 30hp Yamaha 2-Stroke Short Shaft

In excellent condition, running and with no rust. It's about 4 years old but probably has only 10 hours on it.

The story with this motor is that I needed a new dingy. So I bought one, spend a whole day rigging up the lifting harness and mounting the motor on it. Just as I was finishing, the local mechanic walks by and goes uh-uh-uh - only like a Frenchman can do. I look at him and say "What now?" He points out that I've just mounted a short shaft motor on a dingy designed for a long shaft. I couldn't return the dingy.

So, I bought a new Yamaha 30hp long shaft for $2700. I figure the old motor is worth half that. You can have the dingy - 11.5' AB Aluminum. It (the dingy) is in poor shape but useable.

Note - this motor is very powerful and was a little more then the 11.5 should have had, though it is rated for it. I ended up with a new 13' and it's a perfect combo. Attached are photos of old and new so you know the story isn't bs.

Now I'm in Brazil, I'll pass in St Martinbecause I'll travel with my trawler from Ft Lauderdale to Brazil. In the beginning of November I'll be there and I intend to buy
