3/8" Gasket for Atkins and Hoyle Hatches

I have three 25' lengths of 3/8" EPDM closed cell foam cord. This is exactly the same gasket material that Atkins & Hoyle sells for their hatches. The price is $10 plus shipping (US only) for 25 feet. I prefer payment by paypal.

If you also need the gasket adhesive, it is Silaprene M6325, available from JD Industrial Supply

CRUD... this is an excelent deal, considering I just bought new seals (rubber cord) from them and paid $29 a piece per port hole!!!

Right--that's why I bought 100 feet for only a few bucks more from McMaster.
Also their price for a tube of Silaprene is about 3x more than JD Inustrial.

Yeah, I was dumbfounded when the kits actually arrived and all it was was a 3/8" straight rubber tube foam... I was thinking for that price, it should have been formed to the port hole dimenstions. Live and Learn...

Thanks for the tip about McMaster. A&H make great hatches, but they should be ashamed for their "gasket kit" prices.

Thanks guys I was able to glean the exact information I needed from this little exchange. They wanted over 500 dollars for the gaskets for my ports, got twice as much material than I will need from Grainger for 75 bucks. I really don't understand their motivation for adding so much to the price. I would have liked to use OEM stuff but dang!

Oh, I understand their motivation very well. But I don't think this pricing scheme will get them much customer good will.

By the way, read this for an amusing take on the A&H gasket kits: Do They Think We're Stupid?

Please send me a PM with your email address and the physical address where you want it shipped. I'll send you a PayPal invoice and you can pay using a credit card.
