Balance's steel hull was built in 2006 by Dunn
Boat Works to George Buehler's Otter 50 design. Custom
interior of solid oak and walnut. Her
interior is spacious and comfortable with lots of natural light and airflow. All lights are LED and she has 7 12 volt fans throughout. The
electronics,
electrical system and running
rigging were completed in 2010 and 2011 with
parts from
Balmar, Xantrex,
Lewmar, Schaeffer,
Harken, Blue Seas, and more. This
boat is ready to go anywhere in the world with large tankage, strong
Perkins 4-236
diesel, good
sails (from 2009), and many comfort extras including 12 volt refer from
Isotherm, huge
galley sink, full size
shower, 490 watts of
solar panels, 1104 amp hours of
AGM batteries, and much, much more.

The boat is currently in
Miami, FL. We will be cruising it around the Keys,
Dry Tortugas and the
Bahamas this summer and fall until she sells. We can bring it to any port in the Southern
Florida area for viewing, and deliver her anywhere in the world if need be.
