I have two (2) older (1991) Sospender Automatic/Manual inflate vests with the removal clip on heavy duty safety straps. There are also two (2) re-arm kits.

One has my name on it in black ink, the other has no name. Both have never been worn, just stored onboard. Each has a tiny bit of mildew on the webbing that easily wipes off.

$125 for everything, including shipping via USPS Flat Rate box to anyplace in the US.

Hi - when I bought these, there was no inshore/offshore designation (as I remember).

These were being sold for offshore use. The attaching straps were an optional extra and are heavy duty. The straps are made by Switlik.

I'll take a look at the inflation cylinders and see how much gas is in them. I think anything around 32-grams offers the maximum flotation.

These have the fully automatic feature (a dissolving tablet that lets the firing pin strike the inflation cylinder) so if you're unconscious or injured it will inflate by it's self. It also has the manual over-ride "pull to inflate" toggle. If everything fails, it also has the manual inflation tube on it so you can inflate them by blowing into the tube.

These are constructed of much heavier duty fabric and components than vest's made today.

I'll get back to you tonight with the cylinder sizes.

OK, here is a update on all the info about the vests that I got off a hidden ID tag.

The official model number is "Adult 1-38"

The CO2 cylinder is a 1-38-A (the A for adult) and it is a 38-gram cartridge.

Inflated, the vest gives 35-lbs of flotation.

They were made in Idaho, USA.

No Chinese or Taiwan junk here

I've shipped re arming kits and have had them shipped to me. Never an issue. I hear a plane may not let you carry one on
