1978 44' Gulfstar MC

Our new boat is nearly finished, so it is time to part ways with our Gulfstar.

Morning Delight is a 44' 1978 Gulfstar motor cruiser. This is the model year with the open aft deck, which we have so enjoyed with family and friends. She has been professionally maintained since 2001 when I purchased her. This would make a great loop boat or coastal cruiser. Draws four feet. Economical cruise at 8 kts burning less than 4 gph. A 500 gallon fuel tank will give you a 1000+ mile range. She draws 4 feet. Plenty of interior space to enjoy cruising and a follow-me TV to enjoy the anchorages.

Details:
Twin 130 HP Perkins, each with approximately 3600 hours on them.
Three year old generator; 1800 hours
heat exchangers, exhaust elbow all replaced two years ago
The air conditioners were replaced in the last few years: upper blows at 62 degrees, lower at 57 degrees.
The bottom was just professionally repainted and redone a month ago. ($5,000 worth -- so the hull is epoxied and blister free).
Direct TV
"normal" electronics: Garmin 225 chart plotter, backup gps, raymarine radar, furuno fish finder/depth guage; forward looking sonar, vhf, epirb,
aft queen walk around
forward v-berth with insert
stand up engine room; easy access for maintenance

Dinghy is only a few years old has a 9.9 hp 4 stroke Yanmar on it.

Financing is available

She needs to be sold -- the new boat is on the way, so all serious offers considered. If you are looking for a liveaboard, coastal cruiser, or loop boat, don't let this one pass you by.

Asking $120,000

Greetings and welcome aboard the CF, Alan.

Best of luck in selling “Morning Delight”, and especially in enjoying "Passage of Time"!
Have you made any specific plans for cruising the new trawler?
