Cruising friends of ours have a 1977 Kelly Peterson 44 Hull ID# 141 for sale.
They are currently out cruising in Panama - San Blas Islands

Thanks for the kind comment End of the road. We have loved this boat for 5 years and are sad to end the trip this winter , but it was a 5 year plan when we started out and now we are closing in on the end of our plan. Solange is a very solid boat and has had a new engine refitted in 07 as well the previous owner installed all new water and fuel tanks so the big problems have been addressed. She ( and us ) are sitting in Roatan now and are planning on being in the USA by April and she is "turn key" ready for the next owner. There may even be some cans of food left for the next lucky adventurer. I can tell you this, if you cruise on the KP's you'll not be disappointed .

Great design! Love those boats. We cruised in company with several and they have a very comfortable layout and much better sailing ability than many cruisers with accommodations like that. You should keep it.

They are really wonderful blue water cruisers, and Solange is very well equipped, ready to go apparently. And the price seems quite attractive.

I believe the boat is now listed with Rogue Yacht Sales in Annapolis for $129,000. The boat is on its way back to the USA and the last I heard from them, they were in the Honduras.
