Where is the Water heater located?

I have just ( last week) bought a Belize and the previous owner couldnt tell me where the water heater is located... it works as I have had a hot shower ..but i cannot seem to find it.. Do any Belize owners care to point me in the right direction and have any advice or info to offer re the systems used?

Mine is under the port aft berth, mount on the bulkhead between the stateroom and port engine room.

Ours is in the same place.

A few years ago I had to replace the heating element because it had corroded away. First indication was a red light (instead of green) for the supply breaker on the 110V panel. After a few weeks, it just stopped working. I special ordered the element through West Marine in Puerto Rico and had it in a few days. Had to destroy the old element to get it out of the heater because it swelled from the corrosion.

Thanks for that.. Mine is also under the port aft bunk .. Looks ok from the outside.. No visible corrosion and still works fortunately it's summer here and at 34degrees a cold shower is often most welcome
