Solar on bimini

I'm in the process of fitting solar panels on the bimini on my Orana, port side. I'm struggling to find a good way to route the cables. Most elegant would be to go inside one of the three rear stainless stations, but not sure its possible or that easy. The port/starboard ones has the bottom bolt in the middle so seems like a nogo. The middle one is perhaps possible, but the welded bottom plate (with the two bolts) has only a small hole for the rear lantern cable, so I would have to drill some new holes and not sure that's a good idea.

Alternatively I guess its always possible to go through the steering station, but it would be less elegant.

Anybody done this or have a good idea.

Thanks

Thanks for your reply. Through the middle support it will be. To know you're on the right path helps a lot when wrestling with the problems doing any sort of installation work a boat.

How much solar do you have on the bimini?. I will put two 100W flexible panels on the port side in front of the main traveler, leaving a non-skid path next to the boom on both sides.

Cheers
