Self Pumpout on a Lucia

To all Lucia owners,
from the attached drawing is the pipe that runs from the hoding tank bottom (hope it is the bottom) to a valve and thru-hull works well if you want to self pumpout when FAR AT SEA (OK I am informed for US and Bahamas regulations).

No need for an extra pump in case "something does not agree to go thru" ?

Re: Self Pumpout on a Lucia

Yes, that's exactly what it is for. We use it all the time while offshore. Never had an issue.

Our heads are all electric macerating so refuse in the tank is already broken up and flows out easily.

Starry Horizons did have an issue with it becoming blocked with a plastic slug left in the tank after FP drilled the tank for pipe installation.

Re: Self Pumpout on a Lucia

Thank you Terbonium. Our heads will not be macerating. So I hope no forgotten plugs. With the speed probab
