Rigging

Hi

We have recently purchased a Belize and our insurer is requiring the rigging to be replaced. The boat still has the original rigging. We are currently not on the boat so we are able to measure it ourselves at this time.

Does anybody have a list of rigging diameters and lengths that we could use to get indicative quotes.

Best regards

Re: Rigging

In my experience almost all riggers want to go to the boat to quote you -- they are very reluctant to give anything but the vaguest idea without seeing the actual boat. The most important thing is to check that your rigger is on your insurer's list of approved riggers, otherwise you will be wasting your money.
