Have any F/P Lipari41 owners installed a water-maker lately. I ordered a Spectra Newport water maker and am making preps to install it and am wondering where other Lipari41 owners put the different components .... including the intake hull-thru. Thanks for any reply

Seriously looking to buy a used Lipari but have a few questions...
1) I have been told by someone who has chartered an FP with the newer SS frig drawers that they can be a problem, any one have a comment?
2) what weight are the standard davits rated for? The entire system?
3) how wet is the steering station when wind is fwd of the beam?
4) has anyone removed the stock davits and replaced with an arch suitable for dink, engine and solar panels?
5)Anyone 'finished off' the interior cubbies with doors?

We have bagged the fridge with cryogel and that made the fridges much more efficient. Easy job.

David's rated at 150kg each. Not an issue for most dinghies and heavy engine. We have a 15 hp with electric start

We added a large stainless targa more for solar and wind but could easily be used instead of the davits. We haven't yet but may later. If you need photos let me know

The helm position is great. We do have a fully enclosed helm covers so if it's raining we do have screens we can hide behind but under normal sailing conditions it's dry and comfortable.

Not sure on the last question on where you are referring.if you are taking about the forpeaks we use them for storage, but they have doors anyway?

When you say cubby holes then if you mean the storage shelves we have a number of fabric covered boxes that fit perfectly in the shelves that we put a lot of our stuff in. we live on board so have spent alot of time sorting out where we put everything.

Thanks for the response...as for the helm, how wet is it when the wind is up and fwd of the beam? As for the frig on the older models, how does it compare in size to the newer Evolution and the drawers and any problems with them? The cubbies is about making it look more finished and for security when things get a bit dicey...

For the spinnaker this is what we use. The is spinnaker blocks on either side. A winch under the BBQ on the port side but we don't use it we run the line around the back and back up to the helm. We like to set all the line so they can be used at the helm
