Re: Our New Baby Just Splashed !

Thanks everyone for the comments. My wife and I visited La Rochelle last week to tour the factory and (at least one of us) was able to get out on the bay for a sea trial. I can happily report...she sails!

Unfortunately there were no Mahe's on any of the factory lines so we weren't able to get any 'behind the scenes' photos the might help locate wire runs or the like. However, if there are any Lipari owners out there interested, we took some photos of several boats on the line. I'd be happy to share - just PM me and I'll send them along.

We also met the delivery crew and were able to share some drinks and stories. Good folks. Just got news that she leaves tomorrow...on a Friday no less!

Re: Our New Baby Just Splashed !

Hull # huh? I looked at my hull registration
FR- FPA 50096K1 12 and builders certification for a clue and I don't find one. Excuse my ignorance but I don't know. Maybe once I board her for the first time in May. I know it is over 100.

& yes to the Lipari Owners Group

Congrats! May the wind be at your back, the seas be smooth under your hulls, and the drinks cold and delicious.

Hey Tony! Irish Rover arrived in Annapolis on Friday morning. We played hide and seek with Beryl on the ride north from Florida. She caught us off Nags Head for a very unpleasant several hours but at least it wasn't off Hatteras. The Lipari handled it well. Keep reporting your baby's progress. Hope to see you on the docks
Mark

Congrats Mark. Let the fun begin We should compare notes. A La Mer is in St. Thomas. Heading north tomorrow Storms and broken batten cars forced them south. Other than lines chafing, the batten cars have been the only other issue (touch wood). Looks like another 3 weeks for us.
