The one offered at the Strictly Sail show in St Petersburg FL. last year.
I don't know what the options list was but from what I can remember it was pretty good compared to prices now...But I guess that could be true for any new cat now huh?

I assume the price of the Mahe is going through the roof with your weak dollar.

The prices in the past still looked cheap compared to ours in Australia but exchange rates close to parity make the whole exercise very interesting.

The base boat price seems OK.

Pricing

Do not forget sweat equity.A lot of the options can be installed in the USA at a better price

Hi everyone
I need to replace the impellers on my water pumps.has anyone done it yet,and how hard is it? I noticed yesterday that my starboard engine water flow at the exaust wasn't right.I have Volvo's D1-20.

impeller

JC
easy
get impelller and gasket from Volvo
make sure that you mark the impeller rotation way to bend the new one the same
Also stuff the impeller housing with white grease .It will lubricate the impeller and give time to the salt water to reach the pump and feed the circuit
Then it is cover back with new gasket or o ring
should be done at least once a year

Thanks Philippe. I have done this job before, but I just wanted to make sure. Also is the Fuel tank vented on the Mahe or was it something they forgot to install on my boat? it is a real pain to fill up the tank without making a mess.

First sail today!

Hi all,
After delivery in La Rochelle of our new Mahe "Miss Poes" we did the first day of sailing today. We left La Rochelle 7:20 AM and at 8:15 had the Spifurl up, which was not tested during our test sail the day before because of too much wind. Later we did some motoring due to no wind; after the wind turned and same back we had to tack all the way to Sables d'Oleron, where we arrived today 19:50 PM. A long first day.
The day included a swim (I thought there was a line in the left prop), a visit by 5 customs officers, and a hot meal prepared during sailing. This last thing is tricky and can be dangerous since there is no pan holder supplied. (you can order this from Eno, I've got the part number if anybody is interested. We will order it surely)
We were really impressed with the boat, and are very happy with it. There were quite a lot of little things not OK on our boat, but Fountaine Pajot (Romain) did his best to solve everything. Only remaining thing is that strangely, the sea was at a constant 6.5 meters. We hope that tomorrow morning the Furuno people will solve this in some way.
Happy sailing,
Jef and Marin, now in France

Hi Jef & marin,

Congratulations on yr Mahe.. I took my Orana a week ago and had the same problem with Furuno deep sounder. It is either constant 2,5 meter or just ---... I don't think is a problem. In mine tere was a pan holder even though I didn't specifically ordered it.

Rgds

Hi Jeff & Marin.
Glad to see that you are enjoying your Mahe.If you could provide me with the number on the pan holder that would be nice.it is really a problem when coocking at sea.We are really enjoying our boat and are leaving Saturday for 3 weeks.
JC.
