Lipari tweaking - jib sheeting & traveller adjustment

Would be interested to hear ideas from anyone who has made improvements on Lipari to:

Jib sheeting position - have been using a barber hauler as soon as off the wind (due to very short length of jib sheet car traveller) but makes tacking harder if short handed plus finding that the port barber hauler is wearing the gel coat on the cabin roof.

Traveller adjustment - find it hard to adjust without putting it on a winch if blowing a bit and often dont have a winch free if using barber hauler.

..... plus love to hear about any other running rigging / deck hardware / sail tweaking / tuning tips for the Lipari.

Wishing everyone fair winds for 2013
