Lifting/Slipping a Belize 43

hi can any owners of a belize tell me if its ok to use a slip that has a trailer type set up that goes under the bridge deak to support/transport to hard stand.

the last thing i want to do is to cause structal problems if it is not dezined for this move.


its the first time i will be sliping it survey was done on a beach.

I know the FP Mahe 36 can be lifed from the bridge deck.

Our Bahia was hauled that way in Raiatea when we first went over to look at her. I also know a Venezia here in NZ hauled out that way. I really don't think you need to worry.

Don't have actual engineering data to back this up, but in general I think articulated trailers (like you are considering), marine railways, and marine elevators are easier on a cat than lifting with a travel lift.

We tried to lift our Belize out using a trailer that was 2900mm wide and was unsuccessful. The curved sections of the hulls did not allow a flat section to sit on the trailer so the lift was abandoned and we ended up using a travel lift on the Gold coast which was 33' wide.
