Bahia 46: Just bought a FP Bahia

Hi folks!

I'm a proud owner of a '97 Fountaine Pajot Bahia, just bought it last week.



It's got a genset, separate aircons in the cabins, a custom made fishing deck instead of the davits...
The aircons in the saloon are removed, but once I get some cash I will buy and install them again.

The boat is the charter version and was used for charters.
I am going to charter it out, too. But first I want to do some minor renovations.

For now I will be replacing some of the crazed hatches and the sunblinds for them.
I am getting new LED illumination all around, as well the push lock buttons etc.

I have noticed the the portlights do not have any seals.
The wooden panels around the port lights are rotting a bit...
I guess, I can just buy rubber profile by the meter and glue it?

For the future I have plans to install a WiFi hotspot with an active antenna on the mast.
Is there a chance to pull a cable through the mast?

Later on I want to install a flatscreen in the saloon, have to find a nice and slim model first.

For the far future I'm thinking of putting a few underwater illumination lights.
Am just a bit scared of drilling holes in the hulls

Can anybody help me: Which pump is the right one for the seawater-sink?
The original one is missing. And I want to have the boat in a immaculate condition.

Does anybody have the wiring diagrams/ manuals/ technical informations?
I would appreciate any input.


The gas-lift on the lid of the fridge is missing.
What is the right length? I will try and use one from the automotive sector... But need to know the right lenght.
