Journey of a catamaran

Hi everyone,

Brand new owner of a Helia 44 Evolution here.

I have been reading this forum for a number of years, benefitting from your input, information and thoughts. Thank you.

Now, with the purchase of "No Shoes" I have decided to take a more active role in the online community. For a good reason.

Go to www.noshoes-resoled.com for a look.

I hope this will help those who are thinking about buying a cat and how to finance it.

Admittedly it's a long term blog, but you have to start somewhere, so watch this space and help me with your contributions

Re: Journey of a catamaran

Congratulations,

and WELCOME TO THE FORUM, POST NUMBER 1

You have made a very nice choice there. I owned a Helia 44, and there is a large Topic here on the Helia, that you might profit from:
"IMPROVEMENTS TO THE HELIA 44"

There are a few things there that F.P. added onto the Evolution, like my idea of the fiberglass hardtop and the forward handrails, and then some they did not solve like the front portholes for ventilation that are weather proof... Anyway you might glean something from that Thread..

You have a fine Gourmet Yacht there. "Helia 44" now Blessed with Saba 50..

Thanks Helia44. Yes, I have read your posts on the Helia with interest and marked down / saved what I might need to do once she comes out of charter. Try not to sell your new cat straight after you made all the mods ,[emoji23]

With this Saba 50:
I think I am doing "Life" without Parole

I just like to tinker and improve things, sort of a part time hobby (Therapy)...

It will just keep getting better.
