How did you manage to match the timber.
No worries. I can give you all the info you would need with blue prints.
The wood is 8 ply marine plywood with a clear lacquer top coat all over.

Re: Interior

Here is all the info and drawings on the new Mahe cabinet doors that I promised.
They are made with Maple 8 ply cabinet plywood.
I clear coated with Minwax Fast-Drying Polyurethane-Clear Satin finish.
The mesh inserts are the same kind you cover catamaran windows with.
The Screening Spline is .175 inch (4.44mm) diameter
This was a fun project and looks a bit more upscale than the curtains, plus gives better air circulation.
The doors are super lightweight, so it works well for a catamaran.

Here's the shop on Vaya con Dios. Port forward cabin converted. Look and works good.

Re: Interior

I too made a cabinet/bench for the salon. I used one sheet of birch plywood, 1 piece of 4 inch pine and some doors that my Dad had in his "spare" wood pile. I don't like the doors but until I find what I want, they work. The top smaller doors are just wide enough for silverware trays. I could put in another shelf on one side, but for now, its good. Husband says he doesn't want or need a cushion on top. Maybe sometime down the road we will get one.

Re: Interior

Here is another idea for the galley. Works really well for everyday access to mugs and cups.

Cheers!

Cockpit Cushions

We lost one of our cockpit cushion overboard. Anyone have a source of supply for a replacement, presumably the original owner got these as an option since they look like the ones in pictures of other Mahes with cushions.

Re: Interior

I am not sure but i think i saw a label NV Nautisme on our cushions, but since the boat is long sold i can't check.
Or ask FP, but don't expect stellar customer service or price.

Re: Interior

The spring in the door lock for my toiletdoor just broke. Replacement lock seems to be hard to find.
Anyone who have any advise?
