I had it done at Mango Marine at the FT Lauderdale Marine center. I gave them pictures of the 40, and said make it look just like it.

That is what I thought when I saw the boat last fall (and commented here I think).
Any added ventilation for the hulls in mind?

No plans for the hulls as of yet. I get good flow at ancor from the exscape hatchs. I do plan a prop to keep them open.

I thought about that but was concerned about the freeboard there. It just seemed that a little chop could cause problems. Although water in the head area could be a non-issue I guess, even if it is salt.

With the escape hatches open at anchor you get no slop or chop into the hulls. We have sat out 30 knots no problem with water entry.

One small safety tip. We have a red flag attached on the security bar of each safety hatch with velcro. When we remove the bar to open the hatch we take the flag off and velcro it onto the steering wheel. That way you remember to close the hatch before you leave.

I think Larry means is that at anchor the flow of air was enough for the hulls, which I agree. It is great while sleeping, or showering. it is the saloon that lacks for ventilation.

How did you get your custom forward saloon windows on KOKOMO.
Was that done from the factory or did you customize that yourselfs?

They were added after delievery. The place I had them done is no longer in business. Here are pictures of them in progress.

We have the single small window directly behind the mast.

It is very rare for us to feel like we need more ventilation even when it is 40 degrees.
