So you are saying the price list you posted reflects a 10% discount? If so then Aeroyacht advertises even 5% less than that.

So I can compare it with the Leopard 39, and the Lagoon 400...

Mac
I have sailed on all three, the Lipari , the Lagoon and the new Leopard 39' , as far as sailing capabilities and performances are concerned I would rate them as follows :
1/ The Leopard 39' by a long shot
2/ The lipari ( not as good as the previous model the Lavezzi)
3/ The Lagoon

Happy sailing

Re: Buying a Lipari 41

Looking to chat with anyone who may have recently purchased a Lipari41 for private use or for the charter fleet. My Lipari is currently scheduled to be out of the factory on the 12th of December. I know that there is a two-week testing period before the boat is actually released, but I suppose that really depends on the weather in the Bay of B. I would be particularly interested in hearing from anyone who actually made the trip across the pond as I'm intending to do that once I get the go ahead that my boat is ready to go. Thanks.

Let me know how you go. We have ordered a new lipari but won't get it till about September next year. Still going through the options list and sorting out what to put on her. Ours will be delivered to Brisbane

Re: Buying a Lipari 41

Will do. I'm considering writing a blog while enroute but am not sure if I'll have time to set that up. Maybe I'll just post comments here. Anyway, out of curiosity, did you order the charter (4 cabins) or maestro version? My Lipari is the maestro version (3cabs/2heads). Some of the options I went with included the Oceanique package, 30hp volvos, folding prop, solar panels, electric heads, helm station bimini, and auto reef.

Also, is this your first time ordering a new boat? It is mine!

Re: Buying a Lipari 41

Ours is almost the same, Maestro, 2 head. Going with the Oceanique but only because it was cheaper than adding the item we wanted without the pack. Haven't done the auto reef but will add it later. I have opted for a Raymarine electronics rather than Garmin due to the ability to use an iPad as a backup screen. Autopilot, Radar and AIS. Fishfinder rather than depth as it gives me better bottom profile when anchoring. We opted to not get the factory freezer as we wanted the storage space and they seem to have problems with condensation and seem to be power hungry, so we will add a Waeco or similar chest type freezer probably under the forward bunk. We will get clears fitted hear in OZ as I think the quality seems better and prices too. We have tried to order only the things that are cheaper and easier to fit at the factory, and will add the other items when the boat gets here.

We did look at Orana's and Helia's but price and size made us go with a Lipari. The shortage of multihull berths in marinas bigger than 12mtr was a deciding factor as the boat will be home for my wife and I. It is our first new boat and for my wife her first boat. We will have to go to work from on board for the next few years before we get a chance to sail away. Our biggest problem now is finding a suitable name.

Enjoy how we meet up one day and swap notes.

We fitted the factory freezer and have been very happy with it. Have 2 x 180w + 1 x 60w solar and that keeps up with it and everything else easily. Have had no problems with condensation and the top shelf of the freezer is a very good fridge - keeps beer at a perfect temperature. Had no problems with storage space - there are hidden spaces you can use by adding cut outs, doors etc.

Re: Buying a Lipari 41

Just had a number of photos sent through from the factory showing our boat being fitted out. As any proud parent I thought I would share.

Re: Buying a Lipari 41

Found out after that our boat is the new Evolution model. Now some of the photo's make sense, as I couldn't understand the 2 windows in the main berth. The square windows, and the main door seemed to open wider?

Will be very interested to see what improvements they have made.
