Pretty pumped!!! :-D :-D :-D
Congratulations! We know exactly how you feel!
Ours is not delivered until March but we are more or less on the same schedule and could be crossing the Atlantic around the same time.
I will PM you with contact details.

We're going to put it in charter for a few years before we take over full-time.

She'll be in Annapolis next summer (once commissioned) through boat show time (October). She'll then be sailed to the Abacos & be in charter with Mark & Patti @ Cruise Abaco for the start of their charter season November 1st. That'll be her home for the next few years...

I am really interested in seeing the Helia. Does anyone know if there will be one at the boat show">Miami Boat Show in February? Fountain Pajot is listed but they dont say which model will be at the show.

Re: Buying a Helia 44

Our Helia maestro "Sea Dame" is leaving France today for commissioning in Ft. Lauderdale and will be in the Miami show with Dream Yacht Charter at booth 31C. She is having a strong charter demand whilst in FL until she comes to Annapolis for the Summer season May 1, then Nov 1. to Abacos for winters.

I know this isn't a common stat one sees, but I'm often asked by unfamiliar parties about the square footage of living space on the Helia. Anyone know that number?

Dave

Re: Buying a Helia 44

Congratulations Gordon, Sander, dochueb, Nasa and others on your FP Helia purchases. A beautiful vessel and at the top of my list. I'm very interested to hear about your fit-out choices for extended cruising. Given FP's history and reputation, the sailing performance should be excellent.

Once again, congratulations and many happy journeys.

Regards
Brad

Re: Buying a Helia 44

Thanks Brad. If your interested our boat will be at Sanctuary Cove boat show in May. You can see what we have done there. We will have finished all commissioning by then as she will be heading to Perth shortly after that.

Cheers

Thanks Tim (Nasa). It will be excellent to see your Helia in the flesh. Hope to see you there.
