Boom Collar

We are ut cruising and our boom disconnected from the collar on the mast, which is a bit disconcerting. I suspect it was never properly fastened in the factory.

I have put it back together with the bits that came apart, but I want to know if there are any wear washers located on the pin in the collar. I have a s/s washer on the top of the pin at the mainsail connected, but there do not appear to be any washers on the pin on the collar itself. This is possibly the case as s/s reacts with aluminium but I just want to be sure.

I will call support but they are not back until Monday so I thought someone here could check their boat and confirm this back to me.

With thanks
