Anchorwinch

We had the anchor drop back in the water, the winch just slipped,
trying to get off the side of the chain, to check the clutch, showed that the last
bowl-like clutch part did not want to come of without brutal force///!!!
Anybody there who has blowouts/schemes on how the thing is taken of ?
Or better still ; did you have the same problem once and do you know what
might be the trouble,
I think it is still the standard loFrans winch, Lavezzi 2005
thanks
