Zygrib not working on Ubuntu 10.04

Would someone please tell me how to get Zygrib to work on Ubuntu 10.04?
The version I have is in french, won't change to English, and says my version of Zygrib is obsolete.

To save a lot of frustration please only reply if you know exactly how to do it.

The incorrect answers are;

- check the zygrib forum
- upgrade to a higher version of Ubuntu


I like 10.04 and, in the past, have successfully run Zygrib.

The correct and only answer is: Get the sources and build from them. Instructions are linked on the ZyGrib download page in that short paragraph "Instructions de compilation sous Debian". There are no prebuilt packages of recent ZyGrib versions for Ubuntu 10.04.

"build from them" That's what I was afraid of.

Compiling is simply not an art I'm good at.
