Zooming issue with KAP's V5

I have a number of KAP files of harbours overlayed on CM93. They show up ok and can be switched between using the bars at the bottom of the screen.

You can zoom into the KAP fine but when you zoom out either with the scroll wheel or the +/- buttons the chart reverts to the CM93 background.

Is this a V5 bug?

Re: Zooming issue with KAP's V5

Of course O will revert to CM93 at some stage unless Raster charts covers the whole area. Exactly when, at which scale this happens, can be adjusted with the Options->Display->Advanced ->Chart Zoom/Scale Weighting ->Raster.
I find that with the slider in default (=0) position the change happens when the scale gets smaller than the scale of the raster-chart....approximately. Increasing the slider value postpones when the change happens. For an example with slider set to +5, see below.

I don't think this is related to v5. I have similar kap's and I believe O has always behaved in this way.

Thanks I have only previously used full size kaps and haven't noticed this happening

Turn quilting off (keyboard "q") and you can zoom in or out as much as you like on a kap. I have a lot of overlapping charts including vector types and this is what I do, or as cagney says, the chart will change per zoom..the which is fine unless you want to stay on a particular chart.

Another way would be to set up "Chart groups"...
