But when >9.9 degrees (especially westwards) will probably need a few more touches reducing the font size in such a case...

the wmm icon looks nice, very useful!

But adding the icon causes my toolbar to flicker, in random intervals, like every 1/4 second to 1/2 second. A screenshot doesn't show it.... Anyone else seeing this?

XP SP3, no opengl

EDIT: oh, and disabling the plug-in doesn't remove the icon until a restart of opencpn

Yeah, the toolbar flickers on the icon update. I can make the plugin update the icon waaaay less frequently - the variation really has very little chance of changing for more than 0.1 degrees on every boat position update coming from the GPS, so I really don't have to change the icon every time
Will do it in the next version.

I'm currently calling SetToolbarToolBitmaps on every SetPositionFix the plugin receives - total waste of cycles of course, I just wanted to exercise it a bit - in reality I can call it about a zillion times less frequently with simple remeber-the-last-value logic, which will probably be the case for a lot of other aplications as well, but the fact that the toolbar blinks in SetToolbarToolBitmaps at least on Windows exists. Didn't have a look at the other issue at all yet.

Anyone else having trouble downloading the V05 WMM PlugIn from this URL?

I try
$nslookup nodeload.github.com

And nothing is found.

Is github broken?

Those interested in testing the enhancements to the WMM plugin produced by Sean, download the attached file, remove the .doc extension and copy to the plugins folder in your OpenCPN installation.
OpenCPN 3.1.x needed. Let me know if you find any problems so that we can have a regular release soon...
