WINCE + OpenCPN

I would like to work on porting OpenCPN to WINCE.

I don't want to duplicate anything that may have been done already.

Has anyone examined the effort required to port OpenCPN to WINCE, or otherwise started working on a port?

I am also interested in getting OpenCPN to work on windows CE. I have an old nextar gps that has windows CE on an ARM processor. I have access to visual studio 2008 if anyone knows how I would go about cross compiling the source for windows CE.

One needs to have the board support package for the WIN CE target device. The BSP is provided by the target platform vendor.

The WIN CE SDK from Microsoft includes all the tools you need to build a downloadable image for the device once you have the BSP.
