Navigatrix has a lot of features, but lightweight?? nope. If a old computer use Xinutop, If you have plenty of cpu and ram, Navigatrix will be fine.
OK, my old netbook does not have much cpu nor RAM nor DVD drive and it seems like Mint might be a better choice although I have NO Linux experience. Only going to be used for Opencpn. Is Mint a better choice than Win7? I do want to display on a larger screen for planning and be able to look into the salon for navigation. I have an iPad for other stuff. I am currently in the "no chartplotter" group.
