What is this line?

What is this line and how do I make it go away? I can't find out how to get rid of it. It's random as to what direction is comes from. It's not on the machine running on the boat, but only on my laptop that I'm using right now.

The yellow line looks like a track. Position the cursor over it and right click.

That's what I thought, but it's not. Can't click on it. Nothing happens.

BTW, I'm on Mac OS Mojave, running O5.01, but it's done the same thing on previous versions for a while. Gotta be some setting somewhere I'm missing.

This looks like an active MOB alarm, or SART alert.
Zoom out, and see what the line connects to.

We get that yellow line when the AIS has lost the GPS and then gets it back later on, meanwhile, we have been going somewhere, with the boat tracking function on. The yellow line connects where it was (leaving a yellow track) to the new position from the old one, so it just goes straight, not the way the boat did, avoiding reefs and sandbanks, etc.
