Just uploaded the others too.
For each plugin, there is a for each language a po file and you make a mo file. Each translator can use po file and pot file with the software poëdit. And then each translator, create a po file that you can use for create each mo file.

Normally, these files are in the source code. So I need to know where is the source code.

But I thing that you do not know what is a pot file. So it is necessary that you ask this to Pavel Nohal or Sethdart or Dave because I use it but I do not know how to create it.

Best regards

Re: Weather Routing

Gilletarom,

Location of files:
Quote:
Grib_EhancementsThis is on a different branch 'seandepagnier/OpenCPN.git' than normal.
Weather_routing_pi also uses this branch.
https://github.com/seandepagnier/OpenCPN
USE BRANCH: sean/grib_enhancements

git clone git://github.com/seandepagnier/weather_routing_pi.git
1. I have a copy of the source files, because of the GIT commands and my local repository.
2. I have uploaded what I think you need under Language Files, see the link above.
3. Beyond that Pavel or Thomas or someone will have to advise.

See the link above for the download.
Click here and you'll see the files. Then click on each file and download it.

Re: Weather Routing

Hello RGLeason,

I have searched the good link. If I am right, this link is :

https://github.com/seandepagnier/weatherfax_pi

And, there is no po folder and then no po file nor pot file spécific.

If you want that your plugin translated it is necessary to create the necessary files.

Please, ask Pavel or SethDart or Dave.

Re: Weather Routing

Hello RGLeason :

When SaltyPaws wanted to create a plugin with all language files, Sethdart avit help. Must read post # 5 to # 9 of this thread:

http://www.cruisersforum.com/forums/...ml#post1067275

After that, it seems to be unraveled Saltypaws alone. He quickly put the files online translators need.

Best regards

Re: Weather Routing

Gilletarom, have you looked at the link where I uploaded the language files?
There are language files there. http://www.tgp-architects.com/Ocpn/ft2.php
These files are the result of the cmake .. and cmake --build . process. In addition I have used MSVC Debug Build and MSVC Release Build where these files would have been made.

Also is there some other cmake or compile that I must do to update these??

Re: Weather Routing

Thanks Sean. Now what do we do for Gilletarom. Is there anything I should do, like GIT and cmake and upload those files?

Re: Weather Routing

Hello RGLeason and SeanDepagnier,

I have downloaded 3 files :
- celestial_navigation_pi.pot
- weatherfax_pi.pot
- wmm_pi.pot

So I can translate 3 plugins.

Give me a few days and translations appear here.

But it would be preferable if they appear on the thread of translations ( I18n ?)

http://www.cruisersforum.com/forums/...-34181-36.html

What do you prefer ?

Gilletarom.

Re: Weather Routing

the pot files are in the po directory now (like other plugins), so there will be a po file for each language I think. None exist yet.

Re: Weather Routing

I think wmm_pi is done already or at least started.

Please also include weather_routing and grib_pi from the grib_enhancements branch if you feel inclined.

Ok.

Give me time. I will do as I have always done the translations of language files. For some plugin, I will certainly find French users can try the file because I'm not able to try adapting hardware fault (FAX ...). This will require a little more time.

Sean has updated Weather_Routing here. Remember about the special version of Opencpn required please.

Click here and you'll see the files. Then click on each file and download it.

Re: Weather Routing

I am impressed by the functions, but it is sad that the route cannot be exported to route manager in windows. Are there any light at the end of the tunnel.

Re: Weather Routing

Use the source! As you may not know, in windows libraries cannot call functions in the main program unless they are exported. In linux, by default everything is exported. So we could export the routines.. but I feel like this is diverging the code more as it requires more changes in the main program. I had to already to do this to get the coastline detection working. I think I need to talk to bdbcat about this issue, to enhance the plugin functionality to allow plugins to create routes and tracks and stuff.

Re: Weather Routing

Sean, I agree about talking with bdcat. Isn't there a way of establishing an global external function that would be accepted in the base program? Routes and waypoints are a pretty basic class. I think we need this kind of global external function for user settings of units as well.

No reason to reinvent what has already been done. Similar for coastline detection.
