Waypoint in OpenCPN

I have uploaded a series of waypoints into opencpn and wondering is there a way to toggle their visibility on and off? They clutter up the charts and I'm wondering if there is a setting that can remove them from view or do I need to do something different when I import?

Re: Waypoint in OpenCPN

goto the routemanager, then into the folder waypoints.
There you can turn them on or off as you like

Re: Waypoint in OpenCPN

Ted,
Have you tried using layers instead of importing. You can either open them as a temporary layer (under the layer's tab of the route ) or you can place the gpx file in the same directory as the opencpn.ini file (file location is at the bottom of the Help > About tab).

That way you can make the whole layer visible or hidden.

I have not tried using the layers feature Sounds very interesting. Will give it a go. I was able to click on the icon buttons for the waypoints so now I can at least see my charts again.
