V5 Beta Depth Contours

I can't seem to be able to get depth contours to display. I'm playing around with 4.99.1507 and I have 'all' selected in the vector chart display. The depth contour box is checked. Is there an option somewhere else. I noticed to get soundings to display the option is both under 'view' on the top bar menu and in the vector chart display options.

I would say they display just fine for me:

I can get the shallow and the safety depth contour to display ok as well but no other contour will display.

Are you sure you have the canvas set to "All" or "User Standard" display category? The "Base" and "Standard" are defined bi Ecdis and do not contain contours.

Ok, I had it set to 'all' in options - vector chart display tab, but when I checked the chart panel display as you pointed out it was set to standard. Not sure why its in two places. Now working.

Are we using the same program? There is no way to set the display category to anything on the Vector Chart Display tab in what I have...


And yes, I do think that the default display category could be changed from "Standard" to "User Standard".
