Question Upgrading
I still run OpenCPN 2.5.0 on my computer but I would like to upgrade to the latest version. Can I install this 3... version over the older one, without loosing all my layers and markers ? Or do I have to delete the older version and start all over again ? Hope someone can help me out. Thanks

so far I have installed updates over the original without losing anything.

I dont think I am unusual in this respect.

...but why not learn to use the Export function in the route manager?

Never make important data without understanding how to back it up....
