Ubuntu new version

Want to update my Ubuntu from 16.04 to 18.04 but not sure if OpenCPN will still run ok has anyone done this ?

Just done a 3 day nonstop trip with 18 on 2 computers no problems.
A couple of learning's with changes within Ubuntu, but O performed as expected.
