Two versions of OpenCpn android?

Hi
There seems to be two versions of OpenCpn available for android.One is free and one isn't.

I have been trying out the free one, but it seems to have limited capabilties.
That;s ok i guess since I woud use it in the cockpit to supplment full version on a laptop inside....
But can any one tell me what extra features are in the paid one?

One feature I can't figure out in the free version is being able to put the cursor on location and immediatly get the range and bearing.

Thanks!

@GDD,

Lots of difference, the main one is that the free version has not been updated since its release.

The paid version is updated (and plugins too), the last version (august 2019) looks like the pc version

Re: Two versions of OpenCpn android?

Thanks thats good to know because i have set upa few widgets on my laptop version to get things the way I like.

What about connecting to one of these depth sounders that have become available lately?

Something kind of like this

I don't see anything like it mentioned on OpenCpn webpage.
