True wind history

I have never been able to get the True Wind history graph to work. True wind gauges work fine.

I am wondering what NMEA sentences it uses?

I have MDA, MWD, and VHW available

log file attached.

The manual talks about 40 minutes as the maximum x scale? Can that be extended to say 6 hours as that is about the minimum for useful weather watching? 24 Hours would be nice

Well MWV doesn't seem to be read by the history dashboard, or any of the above

yes Mr Policeman, Rick, I did a search for true wind history.. nothing relevant came up so I thought it suitable to start a new threat. As surely I am not the only one likely to experience this in the 'real' world and others may well find the solution useful when they run into it.

also I assume you are referring to Dashboard, and not TrimPlot, but that was not clear to me.

OK sorry I should have been clearer... it is definitely Dashboard. The true wind speed and direction history instrument.

Slight correction, but doesn't really change anything. I have the following sentences available with true wind data.
MWD
MDA
MWV

Got my TLAs mixed up in the first post.
