trimplot plugin

I have been out of reach of internet on my way in the java sea. I did manage to spend a few days reworking the dormant trim plot plugin. There is a lot of potential for this plugin to improve in the future, but for now I think it it is finally useful and would like some feedback.

Code:
https://github.com/seandepagnier/trimplot_pi
enjoy!

Re: trimplot plugin

Sean, glad to see you are back.
There are a number of plugins now that use polars, and your weather_routing polar has dealt with the various formats already. I wonder if you have some ideas/guidelines/suggestions/code that can be used.

The plugins I know that use polars are:
weather_routing
polar_pi <--- imports nmea from logbook konni and other formats.
tackandlay

=====
Peter [ptulp] has made modifications to polar_pi to support
Update angle display in 5, 10 or 15 degree steps 5days ago.

Dave [cowelld] is right now in the process of making tackandlay able to work with more of the garden variety Polar types of polars

=====
Just made this comment in his github plugin
Peter, Sean can you provide any input here so these plugins will work in concert?

Dave, There is some slightly concurrent work going on in several plugins
ptulp/polar_pi - 5 days ago
Update angle display in 5, 10 or 15 degree steps. I believe he removed 8, 24 and 20 degrees
ptulp/polar_pi@48c76d9
cowelld/tackandlay - now
and Earlier in Sean's plugin
weather_routing_pi
https://github.com/seandepagnier/weather_routing_pi
remove bad polars, bundle data, and correct some polars
I it would be nice to have these plugins working in concert.
I am going to post a new thread in the forum asking for input from the authors.
