Trifle: changing the very small scale default position icon ?

The question was asked on a French forum whether it is possible to replace the bull's eye type of position icon (that replaces the boat type position icon) at very small chart scale.
I said I didn't think you could. It that correct ?

Correct. This icon is currently hard coded in the program.

Might want to consult the chart plotter manufacture..
