Thank you very much for completing the French translation.
You do not need to download anything. Just edit the file online (by following the link on the German OpenCPN site to the French file). It is automatically saved and that's it.
Have a look again at the file and you'll see that all your changes are saved!
Thanks
Gunther
BTW: Even though the files are hosted at Google's 'Tables & Documents' there is no need for having a Google account to edit them!

Re: Translation of the New Windows Installer Strings
Hi Gunther.
Still no change in the Installer after version 2.4.606 - just installed 2.4.612 and the missing translations are still there in the Norwegian translation.
It still reads "Norske" instead of "Norsk" in the installer. These are still not translateable.
The possibillity to translate "Version" is still missing...

This I do not understand. I updated the Langstring files and mailed them to Dave. The Norwegian file should exactly be the one as seen on Google which was last edited by you on 8. June.
Additionally I searched the file for any appearance of "Norske" but couldn't find one.
So maybe you are talking about the Norwegian.nsh file which is part of the NSIS package?
The installer uses the default language files (see your NSIS program dir: NSIS\Unicode\Contrib\Language files) for all "standard parts" and only additionally the strings which you translate in "Langstrings_<Language>.nsh.in"

Where in the installer?

Where in the installer? Do you mean e.g. in the window title?

There is only a NSIS.exe.manifest file in the NSIS folder...

Re: Translation of the New Windows Installer Strings
Frode ...
thanks for the hint again. Now I got it.
And yes, it was my bad.
So we got at least two more strings which needed to be translated.
I am working on it.
When ready (about tomorrow) I'll send you an email with a download link so you could test it.
Gunther

Re: Translation of the New Windows Installer Strings
Frode and all ...
Found and corrected all of your points except one.
The word "Version" (see http://www.cruisersforum.com/forums/...tml#post694924) comes from a CPack variable definition - see CMakeLists.txt round line 704:
PHP Code:
SET(CPACK_NSIS_DISPLAY_NAME "${CPACK_PACKAGE_NAME} Version ${PACKAGE_VERSION}")
This is already done before the NSIS script is invoked and could not be changed by it.
AFAIS there is no way of having localized strings in CPack.
So if anybody knows a solution I would be happy to hear it - thanks!
Gunther

Re: Translation of the New Windows Installer Strings
Hi translators ...
OK, we have 1 new string to translate so I hope we can do it via the forum here.
- The word "Version" as in <OpenCPN Version 2.4.612>
Please simply write the name of the language and the translation - thanks!
Gunther
