There are about 4 Featire Requests with 4 votes. They need one more voted to become vetted.

Vote for your favorite features so that they can become vetted. Give the progrmers your preferences!

Not a very big list for programmers to pick from.

Feature Requests (less than 5 votes) sorted by # Votes 158 Items
Why program for an item that has less than 5 votes? There is clearly no interest in these features. If you were a programmer, why waste time on these items when there are much more important things to do?

These Items should be considered Lower Priority although they may get implemented if someone sees merit.

Why not make your preferences known to the Programmers?

Note: When we reach 20 items in the Vetted list, the threshold will be raised to 8 or 10 votes, so now is the time to get your favorite items "vetted".

HOW TO VOTE

Register in Tracker.
OpenCPN::OpenCPNRegister new user

Then Login OpenCPN::OpenCPNAll Projects: Tasklist

At the upper right Dropdown list select "00-OpenCPN Feature Requests"

Click on the "Vote" column to sort by Votes.
Click on the "Summary" column to sort into similar request types
Click on the "Status" column to sort by status.
..and so on.
To read more about a Feature Request, highlight it and left click.
To VOTE for the item find "VOTE" and click on the number.

Log into Tracker
Login OpenCPN::OpenCPNAll Projects: Tasklist
Upper right dropdown select "All projects"
Just above the dropdown find "My Searches"
Select "Tasks I reported"

Look at how many votes for each task there are.
Sort by votes.
If you have Feature Requests with Votes=0 you should vote for them.

I am going to find out if this limit can be increased.

No, I think you are limited to one vote per item. The system remembers if you already voted for an item and won't let you vote for it again. I haven't had any trouble voting for more than one item in a day.

Fabbian, I wish that were true!
Login > My Searches > Pick "Tasks I reported" > Go into a task with Vote=0

Perhaps there is an explanation for a number of my task reports which have Votes=0 because I have not voted for them yet, and when I try to vote

"Votes 0 (already voted today)"

3 votes per day are allowed by the system.

3 Tasks have been moved to "Feature Requests - Vetted"
68 tasks have Votes=0 - This is a marked improvement.

Is there any reason not to increase the maximum per day to 5 or 10?
Can you do it, Serge? I could not find the control.

Keep up the Voting guys, this is the best way to have User Input on what gets programmed.

Vote today and every day (limit is 3 per day). Feature requests with 0 votes = 56. These should all have at least 2 votes! They are orphans nobody wants. There are no changes to vetted feature requests (greater than 4). Get your favorites into the vetted category!
