Tracker - Close your outdated entries

Please see Close your outdated Tracker entries
for the easy way to do this.

We have a total of 21 pages of entries. Feature Requests alone is 9 pages!

To make Tracker at all useful to those who program, we are going to have to cut these entries down by at least 60% so that developers can more easily scope out what is needed most.

It is vital that all of your Feature Requests that are "Completed" or "Outdated" be closed.

This is required "SPRING CLEANING"!!!
Help everyone out. Manage your Tracker Requests Please.

----------
Note: Some of you will be getting closure requests for Plugin items. Please check the current program's plugins to confirm that it should be closed. It is best that the Original Person request closure.

----------
Under Feature Requests we need to simplify these broad categories:
AIS ais
WP waypoints
RM route manager
UI user interface
Chart charts of different types

Re: Tracker - Feature Requests - Broad Categories - Need help.

Would it be possible for some knowledgeable individuals each to take a "Feature Request" -broad Category like:
WP waypoints
RM route manager
UI user interface
Chart charts of different types
Look at each item in the broad category and if it should be closed because
1. It is implemented.
2. There is an alternative way or approach.
3. It is old or outdated.

Then write a short "Comment" like.

"It appears this item can be closed [because...]. If so, it is best if the Original Poster closes it. Thankyou."

I have reviewed all of the AIS entries in this way, and will have to go back an review them all again if OP do not respond.

Thank you.

Re: Tracker - Close your outdated entries

Have reviewed all the RM and clarified a few. Did not find many that could be closed.

Re: Tracker - Close your outdated entries

I've reviewed WP entries, clarified some and requested closure of others.

Can someone knowledgeable about Charts review all the Chart entries and request closure of the items that have been accomplished? That would be a big help.

I will next try to do UI entries and could also use some help there.
