You have made your point. Luckily the plugin is only in Beta. It does come with a warning, but should it be completely removed from circulation?

The functionality of TideFinder would be better in the main OpenCPN program (without the time error!). Same goes for 'otcurrent_pi'.

Thanks for the reply. No, it does not need to be removed (both of them) for the tide finder, either correct the time coming out on the graft or not use it. see only the graft upon cliking on the tide pole or the Arrow for the current. as far as Otcurrent it seems Ok.
Furthermore. I have rebuild completely the Harmonic file and the Harmonic.idx file around the world with 3540 independant stations (not offset). All is separated by area and not mixup (like at the moment). It did require more than 5 years of work, a few every day, obtaining data observed from various places.
What a job. I have reduced the number of constituents to 120 (+the mean level) and like that one can use it on its Android phone. File size:- 14006ko and 357ko.

v1.2 now released. This shows the tide times with the time zone of the tidal station, in synch with the OpenCPN style tidal output.

Please can you give this a test.

In view of your own tidal data it may be necessary to add an option in preferences to select your harmonics file.

I'll have a look Mike. Can you please consider incorporating P_Dub's tide files with the release. From what I have seen they are very good.

Now the time on the graph of tide finder is OK.

As far as the HARMONIC file is concern, I have it with 173 constituents
with 150 constituents, with 120 constituents and today I have reduce it to 92 constituents and starting in 1970 till 2100.
I don't want to reduce it further, in order not to make a mess of it.
The results are fairly good and have 3540 stations in it (including some current). It was quite a job to do and more than 5 years of work. It was not so easy to obtain th data in some places, so it should b use with discretion and not abusively. I found many doubful data in th old harmonic file.

So far so good. I will play more with it tomorow.
Could this be incorporated in Android? I am quite sure that some would want it!
