A few cheap
, very very small computers
with little power requirements have come to the market over the last few months.
These are marketed as Android sticks or smart TV sticks but can also run different Linux
distributions. They consume so little power that they are perfect always-on PCs onboard.
Specifically I am talking about the MK802
: ~70 USD, sometimes less on eBay
Small: like a fat USB thumbdrive
Power: 1 to 3 Watt
CPU: A10 (ARM) 1GHz Cortex-A8
Video: HDMI 1080p
Beside Android 4 it can run a few linux
distros (see here
There are others like MK808, UG802, Mele A1000
Has anyone ever tried to run OpenCPN
on such a device?
Do you think it's possible?
