I saw your mail and I had a look in the tracker just 5 minutes ago.

On the French language, if you speak correctly, as you said, of course, you will be welcome as a translator. If not, I will help you. I had already done translation in crowdin, explaining that I could alert you to the fact that the French translation was not taken into account.

I also point out that, in the tutorial in French that I manage, I have set up a page on sQuiddio :
sQuiddio : Trouver des info gr?ce au web.

Best regards, Gilletarom.

I don't speak French correctly. Far from it. Sorry if that wasn't clear.

I have just downloaded your translation from Crowdin. Somehow I must have missed a notification it was there. That's great!

I will add it to the repo and push it into the next build. Thank you very much for taking care of that.

I didn't notice there's a new version released. It's building right now, should be available in a couple of minutes.

Re: squiddio plugin

0.4 version now updated for Fedora 20 and 21.
Both install and work fine.
Thanks!

It would be fine, if waypoint details would display in addition to everything currently displayed also the details from web-page.

by "details", do you mean info from the "These boats are based here", "These boats are checked in here" and "What users are saying" sections? Or just additional info from the Marina datasheet section? Right now we show most of the stuff from the datasheet, except for the values added as "tags" by the marina master.

Re: squiddio plugin

The waypoint approach is dictating that all info needs to go to waypoints's
details section. The info so far is fine. When entering new places the web form has a section labeled details. I have been putting in there verbal notes and links to web sites. When opening the link from waypoit, the info appears below images without any title/description.

got it. I added a feature request in Flyspray. It only affects the backend, not the plugin itself, so we don't need to create a new version.

Re: squiddio plugin

Fine!
Interesting to see what comes out.
Good design, if adding features is possible without new plugin!

Re: squiddio plugin

Right now I am thinking the use of Waypoints might someday soon become a POI object so waypoints are actually waypoints might be easier to manage. We would need to be able to move / copy squiddio waypoints to POI and some improvements to the pluggin and opencpn to manage this new object.

Re: squiddio plugin

Hello Coupdemistral,

1. I noticed this morning that the language file had been extended. I started to update. There is one more item. I will do tonight.

2. I had an idea, there a few days.
If we look, for example, chartdownloader plugin, it introduces a new tab in the "Charts / Data" "options". It is the same for the plugin "S63".
There should be something identical with sQuiddio the road manager, tracks, waypoints and layers.

Indeed, we find ourselves very quickly with a "substantial" amount of additional waypoint. There are in addition to our own waypoint. It quickly becomes completely inaccessible.

It would have sQuiddio adds a tab in the route, tracks, waypoint and layers manager. A tab reserved for waypoints sQuiddio.
Is this possible?

Memory, unless I am mistaken, it is Sethdart designed this manager. You should ask him what he thinks about the feasibility of this idea?

Best regards. Gilletarom.

Re: squiddio plugin

Hello Coupdemistral,

I completed the translation of the language file on Crowdin.

I installed version 3.5.2015 version that is in the thingie. But when I set the new language file (".mo"), translations do not appear (except some items that are common with the heart of O).
Should redo a complete compilation.

Best regards. Gilletarom.

Rgleason - this sounds like an remarkably good idea! Keep us posted on how this progresses and let me know if I can help. BTW - there should be a way to turn the POI label off, something that is not possible with the current set of API calls. The screen gets really cluttered when you have a lot of wpts on the chart. Cheers
