Southwest florida boating Vacation

Looking for a nice Marina/resorts in Islamorada florida. ill be coming down from Sarasota in September and was looking for somewhere i can stay on the boat but have plenty of amenities for time off the boat. If anyone has a good recommendation for Sarasota on down, Please let me know.

City Dock in Naples is nice. Good staff, not crowded, bike rental for trips up to the 5th area, nice people - plan ur arrival/departure 2 coincide with the tides - lots of crab pot bouts off shore.....get a cutter on ur shaft just in case. :-)

Simply looking for suggestions from other boaters on were stay on my travels. I live in florida and travel the southwest corner of this state by car offten however. Ive decided to take my boat from Sarasota to Islmoriada for a couple weeks and was looking for suggegests on traveling by water. Thanks for he help, Naples is a great place to stop over. We love Venice. Captiva Island has a great resort if you have $$. As I said, what are you looking for? Do you want to spend money on plush resorts with all the amenities or camp out in secluded coves and deserted islands? SW Florida has some of both.
