I want to hear about anyone can create a new plugin for open cpn.
I need to play a sound file when a waypoint is reached.

So is this within a certain distance of the waypoint, or is there some other logic like crossing the line passing through the waypoint which is perpendicular to the direction of travel?

Maybe the watchdog plugin can do this, currently the anchor alarm does the opposite of it.. it would be an extra alarm.

Yes it is within a certain distance of the waypoint.
I want to speak in one geidning for each Waypoint and put in as an audio file.
next time I paserere I will have played the audio file which belongs to the waypoint I pass.
