Re: Shutdown Button

I'm not sure I understand. ".." is simply two dots. It's what you have to type.

Baikal...
Now you lost me completely. What are you talking about? If you followed the compilation instructions on the website and are building OpenCPN, which I understood from your post, just type exactly what I posted in the VS shell (of course using path to your source tree in the first step) and you are done.

I'm not wanting a shutdown command and perhaps these work fine for the OP on a "Rasberry-Pi"- I'm just fooling around, but on Windows XP, I get THIS:

added: nothing happened when I pushed the button....plus it just occurred to me I am running Portable O and maybe I have to do path as ../../ etc

Happy...
Already fixed in the source tree (both the empty button after installation, and the sizing glitch). I will build a new DLL soon.

Re: Shutdown Button

Pavel-cool!
....I'm not sure why windoze users can't just use ALT+F4 or the big X to shut an application down (though I get that Rasp-Pi-guys and Tablet-Types are beyond my ken) but for other uses, this looks to be a fun doofunny!

Re: Shutdown Button

gee! I got a button working on XP! thanks Pavel !

just a note,I can only have one button though. No other buttons will appear below if they are supposed to...(NOT whining! Merry Christmas !!)

Gilletarom if it helps, here is my example on O portable

label: WXtide
Command: ../../../../KEEPERS\Navigation\TIDE+CURRENTextraPrgrms\wxtide4 7\wxtide32.exe -location "Seymour Narrows, British Columbia Current" -autosave

also works with a normal path ie: D:\KEEPERS\Navigation\TIDE+CURRENTextraPrgrms\wxti de47\wxtide32.exe

Re: Shutdown Button

Gilletarom...
I would say you have to run it as
Code:
"C:\program files\mozilla firefox\firefox.exe" C:/Users/Gilletarom/Documents/WWW_Shoreline/OpenCPN_V_33/index.html
or something like that. Those 10 minutes with Windows while compiling the new version were more than enough for today

Sorry Pavel ....

When I saw the display of a web page did not work, I immediately thought it had to do something like that.
But I also thought it was necessary that the proposed tool is practical guide for sailors to not knowing that copy pasted very simple. So, I wrote that it did not work.

So I repeat again, Sorry Pavel. But I know you do not mind.

Merry Christmas, Gilletarom.

Pavel,

Good start.

This pluging gives to the user the ability to customise its OpenCPN environment.

By using it, I have access to several homemade HTML mementos such as shortcuts, AIS, VHF...
